Seniors Games - Swim Meet: Aug 16 - 20

It may seem early, but I'd just like to give you a heads-up about the Seniors Games this year. You may have heard they will be held in Castlegar, Nelson and Trail from the 16 - 20 August. So here's a swim meet right in your back yard! It will be held at the pool in Trail.
I'm hoping that you and some of your masters group will participate for this Zone. It is a sanctioned meet - non-MSABC folks can
participate: they don't require a MSABC membership - so it's a great opportunity to get in a meet of Masters' standards.
You can check on all the rules - General and Swimming - on <www.bcseniorsgames.org. Go to "Downloads for the General Rules and click on "swimming" in the list of sports on the home page.
I realise that many of you are working. You could compete just on the Friday and Saturday, by swimming 3 events each day (the max. is 6 individual events). Of course we would love to have you participate on the Thursday as relays are held at the end of each day. We have no one in the 55 - 59 age category. I think you masters folks would sweep the deck! It's a lot of fun and I think you would know quite a few folks from around here and from other Zones.
Please give it some thought and bring it to the attention of your swimming buddies.
