Oliver Athletes

Hi everyone,

I just was on the Oliver website and thought I would pass on this info ...

Race package pickup is from 2:00 - 5:00 on Friday, and 12:00 - 5:00 on Saturday. You must bring your TriBC card to be covered for race day insurance.

Pre-Race Meeting is from 5:00 -6:00 on Saturday. Mandatory.

Bike check is from 12:00 - 5:00 and 6:00 -7:00 on Saturday. Waive goodbye to your bike until Sunday morning.

RACE STARTS AT 7:30

There is an athlete's guide and maps of the course and transition posted on the website: www.oliverhalf.ca

There is a tentative plan to meet at 2:00 on Saturday at Mike and Holli's campsite (located over the fence and down the beach from the race start) for a quick swim. Then off to pick up race packages and back to Mike and Holli's to number the bikes, and do last minute repairs. Then we will all walk over to transition to check in our bikes. From there, off to the race meeting, and then dinner. There will be a further post if any of this changes.

Now remember..... TAPER.

  I assume that dinner is still at the Diamond Grill so I can tell Mike and the kids to meet me there after the race meeting. If someone could confirm that would great.
